Abstract
THE USE OF NATURAL AGGREGATES IN BUILDING INDUSTRY
Summary
The question of the use of various types of artificial aggregates of carbonate and siliceous rocks and sandstones, and natural aggregates in the building industry in Poland is discussed with reference to the Authoress's data and those published in the literature. Some recent changes in technology of production of cement in the country resulted in marked increase in content of alkali in portland cements and, therefore, alkali reactivity of the above mentioned artificial and natural aggregates.
