Abstract
CATALOGUE OF PHYSICO-MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ROCKS FROM THE CENTRAL COAL REGION, LUBLIN COAL BASIN
Summary
The Catalogue of Physico-mechanical Properties of Rocks in the Central Coal Region, Lublin Coal Basin, represents a summary of results of geotechnical tests on rocks from 68 boreholes, 4 mine shafts and first horizontal mining works in this region and 3 boreholes from the Northern Coal Region - Central Coal Region. It consists of three parts :
- the major, tabular part, presenting results of tests on physico-mechanical properties of rocks;
- graphic part, comprising location map of exploratory boreholes in the Central Coal Region, Lublin Coal Basin, as well as columns of boreholes and mine shafts; and
- text part, presenting information on subdivision of the catalogue, the used symbols, methods of evaluation of geotechnical parameters and comments to the graphic parts as well as tables of mean and extremal values of the relevant rock properties.
Attempt is made to present mean values of selected geotechnical parameters in graphs. Moreover, there are discussed possibilities to adjust the catalogue to the use by computer methods.
