RELATIONS OF LANDSAT PHOTOLINEAMENTS AND SELECTED HYDROGEOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF THE BYSTRZYCA RIVER DRAINAGE BASIN
Summary
The paper presents results of preliminary analysis of usability of interpretation of LANDSAT satellite imagery in hydrogeological regional surveys. The analysis showed an interrelationship of image of photolineaments and selected hydrogeological parameters such as unit output, potential output of a typical well, or image of hydroisohypses. The necessity to continue such studies on use of results of interpretation of satellite imagery in hydrogeology, especially in regions poorly known from the point of view of geology, is emphasized.
