Summary
The paper deals with irregularities which may take place in the course of preparations to pressuremeler tests, making the tests and interpreting their results, and lead to erroneous results. Attention is paid to the fact that, despite of numerous difficulties in obtaining satisfactory results of the tests, the question of detection and evaluation of errors appears relatively simple but insufficiently known, which makes its popularization justified.
