Abstract
ON THE NECESSITY TO INCREASE RAW MATERIAL BASIS OF NUCLEAR ENERGY INDUSTRY
Summary
In connection with the expected decline in exploitation of energy raw materials of the biogenic origin in Poland after the year 2020, the paper suggests intensification of basic studies aimed at elucidating prospects of discovery and proving country resources for atomic energy, as the present-day rate of these works does not promise solving this question.
It is postulated to develope the research in three directions at the same time: 1) search for uranium deposits of the sandstone type in the Triassic and Permian, 2) search for uranium deposits genetically related to granitoids, and 3) search for uranium and thorium deposits genetically related to alkaline complexes.
