Nowe stanowisko ryb słodkowodnych (Teleostei) z trzeciorzędu Polski
Abstract
A NEW LOCALITY OF TERTIARY FRESH-WATER FISH FAUNA (TELEOSTEI) IN POLAND Summary Isolated skull bones, vertebrae and teeth of Teleostei have been found in black coally clays in the Bełchatów open-cast brown-coal mine. The remains belong to Esocidae (Esox sp.) and Cyprinidae (genus indet.), i.e. two families hitherto unknown from the Tertiary of Poland. The available geological data make possible assignation of the clays to the Upper Miocene.Downloads
