Geochemical documentation based on accurate chemical analyses, selective genetic indices and paragenetic correlations, may be a reliable source of diagnostic informations as to the formation processes of ore beds. The speculation as to the way the bed had been formed thus becomes a mathematical problem, possible to be resolved by means of a computer.
