THE USE OF MATHEMATIC MODELLING IN DESIGNING OF THE UNDERGROUND RAILWAY DRAINAGE EXCAVATIONS EXEMPLIFIED BY THE A-10. STATION EXCAVATION

Summary
Construction of deep underground railway excavations and drainage operations make risk to the surrending buildings and greens complexes. The paper presents results of modelling research carried out in a predesigning phase of the A-10 station drainage operations. Alternative designs of protection the greens complex lying in a 25 m distance from the wall of the excavation are analysed. There were following designs: "injection barrier" and "hydrodynamic barrier". Remarkable usefulness of modelling research in designing the deep excavation drainage is stated.
