Abstract
AGE OF THE WARTA AND ODRA MORAINES
Summary
A detail statistical analysis of laboratory works connected with thermoluminescence datings of moraines from the vicinities of Helenów, Kownacice, and Pogorzelec, was made in the Chronostratigraphic Laboratory of the Polish Geographic Society. The glacial deposits were dated on the basis of core material from three Geological Institute drillings. Results of individual measurements and statistical treatment of the data are given in a summative table. Possible errors in estimations of size of natural doses of ionizing radiation and annual doses for individual layers are below 5%, and in datings of the rocks - from 6 to 9% (7.6% at the average).
