Abstract
TL DATINGS OF SANDS FROM FROMBORK
Summary
The paper presents results of first three datings of geological samples, obtained in the TL Laboratory in Gdynia. The samples were taken in an excavation made at the Góra Żurawia hill near Frombork. The results of these datings are given along with some data on the sampled area and mechanical composition of sediments.
The results of annual and geological doses and the age of samples from Frombork as established by the Gdynia Laboratory are compared with datings of the same samples in the Gliwice Laboratory. The comparison shows that the results are identical within the range of 15% of measurement error.
