Abstract
PROPOS AL OF THE NEW INTERNATIONAL RESERVE/RESOURCE CLASSIFICATION
Summary
The solution being used in Poland were discussed with refer to views evolution of mineral resources terms and classification system in the world. The new International Reserve/Resource Classification System has been developed during the works conducted in the course of 1992-1996 by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNIECE), Working Party on Coal. The final version of the reserve/resource classification is published in the UNIECE document ENERGY/WP.I/R.70 (1997). Three dimensional UN Framework Classification for Reserve/Resources of the Mineral Raw Materials provides data about the stage of Geological Study, the stage of Feasibility Assessment and the degree of Economic Viability. The new Classification System is an international scheme for assessing mineral raw material deposits under market economy conditions. The adapt trial of the terms and definitions being used in national system for international classification request was presented.
