ON PALYNOLOGICAL EXPERTISE OF RED CLAYS AT KOŹLAK NEAR WĘGORZEWO (NE POLAND)
Summary
Red clays common in many profile of the Quaternary in the Mazury Lakeland are located at about 30 m b.s.l. to 20 m a.s.l. (Table 1) and correlated to the Mazovian Interglacial. Palynological examination of two samples of red clays from the borehole Koźlak proved their affiliation to two initial parts of the Mazovian Interglacial.
