Abstract

PROGRAM OF COMPUTER AIDED PRODUCTION OF THE 1 : 50,000 DETAILED GEOLOGICAL MAP OF POLAND Summary This paper depicts a state of computer aided production of The 1 : 50,000 Detailed Geological map of Poland. The aims of project of computer aided production, mam features of database, software application and methods are described. Arc/Info 7.0.2 and OracIe 7 are used to computer-aided production of that map and database. Accuracy of source data is the most important factor for efficiency of the database and computer-aided map production. The first sheets of The 1 : 50,000 Detailed Geological Map of Poland were printed using computer method in 1996.
