Wpływ górnictwa i hutnictwa rud metali na zanieczyszczenie pierwiastkami śladowymi aluwiów Odry

Abstract

Eksploatacja i przeróbka rud cynkowo-ołowiowych i rud miedzi prowadzona na obszarze zlewni Odry powoduje uruchamianie do środowiska dużych ilości pierwiastków śladowych, z których znaczna część zatrzymywana jest w osadach wodnych. Próbki osadów pobrano wzdłuż biegu Odry, a z jej dopływów, w pobliżu ich ujść. W próbkach oznaczono zawartość: Ag, As, Cd, Cu, Co, Ni, Pb i Zn. Odprowadzanie ścieków z górnictwa i hutnictwa miedzi wywiera wyraźny wpływ na występowanie miedzi, arsenu, ołowiu, cynku i srebra w aluwiach Odry, na odcinku od ujścia Kaczawy do ujścia Warty. Przetwórstwo rud cynkowo-ołowiowych wywiera znacznie mniejszy wpływ na stężenie pierwiastków śladowych w osadach Odry; jest on widoczny poniżej ujścia dopływów drenujących Górny Śląsk - Małej Panwi, Kłodnicy i Rudy. Osady deponowane w dolnym biegu Odry, poniżej ujścia Warty, charakteryzują się znacznie niższymi zawartościami badanych pierwiastków, w porównaniu do osadów górnej i środkowej Odry. INFLUENCE OF ORE MINING AND METALLURGY FOR POLLUTION OF THE ODRA RIVER ALLUVIAL DEPOSITS WITH TRACE ELEMENTS Summary Extraction and processing of zinc-lead and copper ores in the Odra catchment area are a cause of release of a large amount of trace elements to the environment. A considerable part of these elements is subject to accumulation in the river bottom deposits. Samples of alluvial sediments were collected along the Odra River course and from the Odra tributaries in points located near their confluences to the Odra River. Concentrations of such elements as Ag, As, Cd, Cu, Co, Ni, Pb and Zn were determined. Waste water discharged by copper ore mines, processing and metallurgy plants has the influence on the concentrations of Cu, As, Pb, Zn and Ag in the sediments deposited in the Odra River, especially between the Kaczawa and the Warta rivers mouths. Zn-Pb ores mining and processing does not effect the trace elements concentrations in the Odra River sediments much, except the Odra River alluvial sediments below confluences such of tributaries as the Mała Panew, the Kłodnica and the Ruda rivers. Sediments deposited in the lower Odra course (downstream from the confluence of the Warta River) contain considerably lower concentrations of trace elements compared to those in the sediments of the Upper and the Middle Odra River course.
