GEOCHEMICAL MONITORING — THE OFFER FOR THE BASE STATIONS OF THE INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING (IEM)
Summary
The geochemistry which is the science investigating the circulation of the chemical elements in nature, can be useful in the assessment of the civilisation impact on the chemical equilibrium of the natural environment. The suggestion to introduce the geochemical monitoring as one of the IEMelements is nothing more than to propose a method of the interpretation of the data collected from the already on going research projects. The only extension would be the inclusion of the geochemical monitoring of river bed sediments at the most downstream point within the test catchment.
