Identyfikacja i badania starych składowisk na obszarze środkowej części zlewni Pilicy — implikacje geosozologiczne
Abstract
W wielu uprzemysłowionych i wysokorozwiniętych krajach od lat prowadzi się intensywne badania starych składowisk i terenów poprzemysłowych. Okazuje się bowiem, że w znaczącym stopniu obiekty te mogą wpływać na stan środowiska naturalnego. W dużych koncentracjach występują tu metale ciężkie oraz szkodliwe związki organiczne. Szczególnie zagraża to jakości wód podziemnych. Pilne wykrycie tych miejsc oraz ocena sytuacji geologicznej, w jakiej się znajdują, pozwalają uniknąć wielu pomyłek w planowaniu przestrzennym, ułatwiają i optymalizują remediację, a w konsekwencji zmniejszają ryzyko dla ludzi. W Polsce nie istniały dotąd żadne, urzędowe dane na ten temat. Prace inwentaryzacyjne w rejonie środkowej Pilicy i wstępne oceny wykrytych obiektów pokazują, że tego typu badania należy kontynuować na szerszą skalę.
IDENTIFICATION AND INVESTIGATIONS OF OLD WASTE DISPOSAL SITES AT THE AREA OF THE MIDDLE PART OF CATCHMENT AREA OF PILICA RIVER – GEOENVIRONMENTALLY AND PLANNERY IMPLICATION.
Summary
In many high-developed and industrial countries has been done the intensive research of the old waste disposal sites and brownfields for years. Actually it occurs, that these objects can seriously influent to the condition of our environment. There is a high concentration of heavy metals and damaging organic compounds. That affects especially the quality of groundwater. Fast discovery of these places and evaluation of the geological situation the are in, allow us to avoid many mistakes in town planning, they also unease and optimise the remediation and, as a consequence, they decrease the risk for humans. In Poland, there have not existed any official data about that. The stocktaking works at the area of the middle catchment area of Pilica River and general evaluation of the indicated objects show, that such research should be continued largely.
