Tektonika Gór Sowich

Abstract

Praca podaje najnowsze poglądy na ewolucję metamorficzną gnejsów sowiogórskich uzupełnioną nowymi opisami petrograficznymi rzadkich skał tego regionu. Na podstawie obserwacji terenowych oraz załączonej mapy przeglądowej Gór Sowich i analizy pomiarów drobnych struktur dochodzi autor do wniosku, że główne, prekambryjskie ruchy fałdowe związane były na zbadanym obszarze z synkinematyczną migmatytyzacją. W wyniku tych ruchów powstały struktury o kierunku NW-SE (system B₁). Ruchy fałdowe młodsze, systemu B₂, doprowadziły do powstania struktur o kierunku SW-NE w części północnej Gór Sowich i przebudowały częściowo struktury starsze systemu B₁ na pozostałym obszarze gnejsowym. Następnie scharakteryzował autor ważniejsze deformacje dysjunktywne zwłaszcza waryscyjskie i ich przypuszczalne następstwo czasowe. W pracy zaproponowano podział Gór Sowich na mniejsze jednostki tektoniczne i przeprowadzono porównanie przebiegu różnowiekowych struktur sowiogórskich z wynikami analogicznych badań w innych regionach Sudetów.

Structure of the Sowie Mts.

Abstract
The most-up-to-date views on the metamorphic evolution of the Sowie Góry gneisses are reported and supplemented by new petrographic descriptions of some rare rocks from this region. On the ground of field observations, of the attached general map of the Sowie Góry Mts. and of an analysis of the measured microstructures it is concluded that, within the investigated area, the main pre-Cambrian folding was associated with synkinematic migmatitisation. NW-SE-directed structures (system B₁) were the product of these movements. The younger fold movements (system B₂) resulted in the formation of SW-NE structures in the northern part of the Sowie Mts., and partly remodelled the older structures of system B₁ within the remaining part of the gneiss area. The characteristics are also given of the major disjunctive deformations and their hypothetical time sequence. A subdivision of the Sowie Mts. into smaller structural 'units is proposed by the writer and a correlation is made of the trends of some Sowie Góry structures of various age with the results of analogous investigations in other areas of the Sudetes.
