Abstract
Contributions to the geology of the Wadowice region. Part I
W siodle Palczy na południe od Lanckorony odkryto występowanie margli globigerynowych i warstw hieroglifowych. W okolicy Woźnik w najbardziej zewnętrznej łusce jednostki podśląskiej stwierdzono pstre margle senonu i szare margle eocenu. Na północ od Wadowic stwierdzono występowanie albu (?), senonu marglistego, łupków dolnego i środkowego eocenu oraz łupków menilitowych i warstw krośnieńskich.
Globigerina marls and Hieroglyphic beds occurring in the core of the Palcza anticline, south of Lanckorona, are described. At Woźniki in the most external thrust-sheet of the Sub-Silesian nappe Senonian variegated marls and Middle Eocene grey marls have been found. North of Wadowice a belt of strongly dislocated beds comprising Albian (?), Senonian and Paleogene, covered by loams and gravels, has been examined with the help of bore-holes.
