This study was undertaken to describe and interpret the breccias that host the zinc-lead ores in the Olkusz mine (Cracow—Silesian ore-district). The breccias represent typical collapse structures consequent upon the removal of support by the dissolving action of solutions and were formed in already lithified dolomites.
