Abstract


Some assemblages of foraminifera in ore-bearing clays near Częstochowa (Central Poland)

In the ore-bearing clays of Vesulian age in the region of Częstochowa a Foraminifera assemblage with Flabellamminopsis tricarinatus Małecki was found. The stratigraphic value of this assemblage is shown. Stratigraphic ranges of most important species are presented in Table 2, and the profiles of investigated bore holes in Table 1. The six Foraminifera assemblages occurring in the discussed deposits of Bathonian and Vesulian ages are shown in the PI. V—VII.
