Otwornice mioceńskie z Gliwic Starych
Abstract
The Miocene Foraminifera from Gliwice Stare
W niniejszej pracy podano wyniki opracowania zespołu otwornic mioceńskich z Gliwic Starych na Górnym Śląsku. Na wstępite scharakteryzowano ogólnie występujący tam zespół otwornic, a następnie przeprowadzono porównanie pomiędzy zespołami z Gliwic Starych i z warstw grabowieekich okolicy Bochni, podając jako przypuszczalny wiek iłów morskich Gliwic — środkowy torton. Ogółem oznaczono 159 gatunków otwornic, których zestawienie podano w tabeli z zaznaczeniem ich częstości występowania w iłach z Gliwic Starych i zasięgu wiekowego. Opisano 40 form, w tym 8 nowych gatunków i 1 nową odmianę.
In this paper the results of the investigation of the Miocene foraminiferal assemblage from Gliwice Stare in Upper Silesia are given. The general characteristic of the foraminiferal assemblage occurring there is given, then the comparison between the assemblages from Gliwice Stare and the Grabowiec beds of the environs of Bochnia is made. As the presumptive age of the marine clays of Gliwice the Middle Tortonian is given. Totally 159 Foraminifera species has been determined; they are presented on a plate with adnotations concerning their rate of occurrence in clays of Gliwice Stare and their age position. Forty forms, including 8 new species and one new variety has been described.
