Abstract

HoIothurian sclerites are described for the first time from the limestones of the Polish Jurassic. The sclerites found are assigned to 12 species of 4 families: Calclamnidae, Priscopedatidae, Theeliidae and Protocaudinidae. Five species are new: Cucumarites tokarniensis sp. n., Priscopedatus pompatus sp. n., Theelia polonica sp. n., Stueria horrida sp. n. and Protocaudina acmaea sp. n. The stratigraphical ranges of particular species are compared with ammonite zonation of the Oxfordian.
