Abstract

Origin of drumlines near Zbójno (Dobrzyń Lakeland)Drumline forms from the area of Zbójno village (Dobrzyń LakeIand) are built up of fluvioglacial core enveloped in boulder clays. It was hitherto assumed that active ice contributed to the formation of these forms. The author’s observations reviewed in the present paper show that these forms came into being as a result of infilling of a net of parallel streams fIowing from the surface of the ice with fluvioglacial and boulder clay deposits during the deglaciation period.
