Abstract

Ball pegmatite from Czarne in the Karkonosze Mts

The petrographical and mineralogical characteristics of pegmatites from the vicinity of Czarne (S of Jelenia Góra, Karkonosze Mts, Sudetes), including the unusual ball pegmatite, are dealt with in the present paper. The selected mineral (quartz) is investigated geochemically, taking into account the occurrence of solutions in gaseous-liquid inclusions.
Special attention is paid to ball pegmatite as a unique rock, the structure of which is analyzed exactly, and origin of which is discussed.
