Abstract

The systematic position of the most common ,trilobite species Ellipsocephalus sanctacrucensis (Samsonowicz, 11959) in the Lower Cambrian Protolenus Zone of the Holy Cross Mts is discussed, and its ontogeny is reconstructed.
