Cephalopod arm hooks from the Muschelkalk of Poland

Abstract

Cephalopod arm hooks from the Muschelkalk of Poland are described and illustrated in the present paper, which also gives their stratitgraphic position in correlation with the ceratitid and conodont stratigraphy. The arm hooks under study have been assigned to the Phragmoteuthida, an only order of the Triassic Coleoidea having such hooks.
