Microflora of the Famennian and Tournaisian deposits from boreholes of Northern Poland
Abstract
Five successive spore assemblages are described from marine carbonate deposits discovered in two boreholes in northern Poland. Upper Famenian to early Tournaisian age of the section is suggested. Forty-nine spore species and a few acritarchs are recorded, of which five new spare species are described. Correlation is made between the spore zones described and those from the Ardenno-Rhine Basin.
