On the ammonite genus Rusoceras van Hoepen, 1946, a synonym of Pervinquieria (Pervinquieria) Böhm, 1910, from the Upper Albian of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Abstract

The genus Rusoceras van Hoepen, 1946, is revised and interpreted as a synonym of Pervinquieria (Pervinquieria) Böhm, 1910, while the five species from KwaZulu-Natal described by van Hoepen are interpreted as a single variable species for which we select the name notha van Hoepen, 1946.
