Mułowce glaukonitowe eocenu tatrzańskiego

Abstract

Glauconitic siltstones in the Tatra EocenePetrographic studies have been made of glauconitic silstones occurring in the Tatra Eocene as an intercalation resting upon nummulite limestones in the lower part of shales rich in plant remains. The glauconite was separated, its chemical analysis performed and physical properties determined. Its position in the classification scheme of glauconite types was designated. Suppositions concerning environmental conditions of the investigated glauconitic silstones are have presented.
