Rozwój roślinności pod Grodnem w czasie ostatniego interglacjał
Abstract
The development of vegetation in the Grodno area during the last interglacial period (Masovian II)We find in the Niemen river area, in the neighborhood of Grodno, exceptionally rich and perfectly preserved Quaternary deposits. For many years they have been subject of interest to geologists and botanists. From this area we can quote the palaeobotanical studies of Kristafovich, Sukatchev, and of Prof. W. Szafer and his pupil : Jaroń, Trela and Dyakowska. These researches contributed largely to elucidating the changes occurring in the climate and Quaternary flora of north-eastern Europe.Downloads
