Wyniki badań botanicznych osadów interglacjalnych w dorzeczu Niemna

Abstract

The results of botanical investigations of interglacial deposits in the Niemen BasinThe aim of the work of two authoresses was to elaborate the botanical material contained in geological profiles in the river basin of the Niemen at the localities: Janiańce, Maksymańce, Kapitaniszki, Małe Dugnie, Kmity and Nieclosy. The pollen analysis was carried out by means of Erdtman's method, and a macroscopical determination was made of such plant remains as pieces of wood, seeds, fruits, cones and mosses.
