Abstract

Problem of the Main Mid-Sudeten Fault in the Pilchowice area

The occurrence of the so-called Main Mid-Sudeten Fault is not ascertained in the vicinity of Pilchowice (West Sudeten). A thermic contact is, however, reported there of orthogneissic intrusions of the Karkonosze mantle with an older series of metamorphosed sedimentary rocks.
