Miocen ze Zgłobic koło Tarnowa w świetle badań geologicznych i mikropaleontologicznych

Abstract

Miocene deposits from Zagłobice near Tarnów, southern Poland in the light of geologic and micro-palaeontologic studiesThe lithology, stratigraphy and tectonics are discussed of Miocene (Tortonian) marine deposits represented in Zgłobice by the older Chodenice and the younger Grabowiec beds. The latter discordantly overlie the Chodenice beds which, in Zgłobice, display an anticlinal structure. These beds differ in both their lithological facies and the microfaunal assemblages they contain.
