Abstract

Geological mapping of Wielka Świstówka, and the Mułowy and Litworowy cirques

The area there considered lies in the central part of the Czerwone Wierchy massif (Western Tatra) which consists of folds high-tatric rocks, mainly the Czerwone Wierechy fold truncated by the crystalline core of the Giewont fold (Rabowski 1925, 1931, 1955, 1959). It is a high-mountain region with extremely rocky morphology and special work technique has been used for its geological mapping.
