Abstract

ALBIAN FAUNA OF THE NIEDZlCA SERIES FROM THE KLIPPEN-BELT OF THE PIENlNY MTS.

The Albian fauna of the Niedzica series from The KIippen-belt of the Pieniny Mts. (Central Carpathians) described here consists of ammonites, pelecypods and a belemnite, and displays north-European character testifying to the connection of that province with the Middle Cretaceous Klippen-belt basin. The microfauna occurring in rocks here considered consists of globigerines and globotruncanas; it is of Mediterranean type.
