Abstract

FAUNA OF APTYCHl FROM THE CRINOIDAL LIMESTONE OF THE TlTHONIAN-BERRIASIAN NEAR CZORSZTYN (PIENINY KLIPPEN-BELT)The author describes the fauna of Lamellaptychi from the crinoidaI limestone which forms the highest part of the so-called Tithonian of some types of the Czorsztyn series (Pieniny Klippen-belt). This fauna is characterized by a high percentage of individuals from Trauth's group d and by a low number of different forms within this group. Its age is most probably Berriasian.
