Budowa geologiczna choczańskich łusek Upłazu, Kończystej i Bramy Kantaka na wschód od Doliny Kościeliskiej
Abstract
Geology of the Chocz Scales of Upłaz, Kończysta and Brama Kantaka east of the Kościeliska ValleyThe stratigraphy and geological structure are here discussed of the Chocz scales in the western Tatras, east of the Kościeliska Valley. The Chocz scales consist of three small but distinct nappe scales which have been overthrust from the south and are called the Upłaz scale, Kończysta scale and Brama Kantaka scale (Kotański 1965a, b). New lithostratigraphic members have been differentiated in the Liassic beds by the writer and microfacially characterized. This led to a detailed description of the tectonic structure of the above scales. Their geological structure is in a great measure affected 'by dislocations of various generations whose importance has thus far been under-estimated.Downloads
