Abstract

On the geology of the region of the Przełęcz Sywarowa Pass in the Western Tatras

The region of the Przełęcz Sywarowa Pass in the Western Tatras is the only occurrence site within the Tatra Mts. of the tectonic alternation of high-tatric and sub-tatric tectonic units. Below the major sub-tatric unit of Suchy Wierch there are several sub-tatric and high-tatric nappe scales which have been previously distinguished by Z. Kotański (1965a).
