Abstract

The transgressive Callovian deposits at Gumienice, southern Mesozoic margin of the Holy Cross Mts.

The transgressive deposits of the Middle Jurassic from the vicinity of Gumienice in the southern Mesozoic margin of the Holy Cross Mts. (Central Poland) are described, and the age of the transgression in this region is established as the Sigaloceras calloviense time of the Lower Callovian.
