Abstract

A GLAUCONITlC CONGLOMERATE FROM THE LOWER ORDOVICIAN IN MIĘDZYDZYGÓRZ,HOLYCROSSMOUNTAINS,CENTRAL POLAND

On results of petrographic studies concerning the Ordovician conglomerate of Miedzygórz and particularly on the character of glauconite and authigenic phosphates in this rock, suggestions are made as to the conditions accompanying transgressive movements of the Ordovician sea.
