Środowisko sedymentacji górnego kambru okolic Opatowa

Abstract

UPPER CAMBRIAN SEDIMENTATION NEAR OPATÓW (EASTERN PART OF THE HOLY CROSS MTS., CENTRAL POLAND)

Analyses have been made of the lithological composition, bedding and surface structures of clastic Upper Cambrian beds in the vicinity of Opatów. They indicate shallow-water marine environment at a depth ranging from about a score to some tens of metres. The environmental conditions here very closely resemble those ascertained at Wielka Wiśniówka near Kielce.
