Abstract

SUBMARINE SLUMPING IN THE FAMENNIAN OF THE HOLY CROSS MTS. (CENTRAL POLAND)The presence is here reported of submarine slumpings In the Lower Famennian marly-Iimestone strata of the Holy Cross Mts. Most probably these slumpings have been caused by seismic disturbances associated with an early phase of the old-Variscan (Bretonnian) movements.
