Abstract

ON “PLIOCENE” CLAY DEPOSITS NEAR KLUSZKOWCE, CARPATHIANSIn the writer's opinion the deposits from Kluszkowce, which A. Środoń (1960) was inclined to assign to the Neogene, differ markedly from the Pliocene-Pleistocene deposits of Mizerna and are late-Pleistocene congelifluction products. They rest on gravels comparable with the Baltic (Wurm) terrace of the Dunajec valley and contain material from the Magura Paleogene.
