Abstract

ON THE BRACHYANTlCLINE IN BYSTRZYCA KŁODZKA (SUDETEN MTS., POLAND)

The occurrence is reported of an E-W brachyanticlinal structure, traced in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, within the central part of the Upper Cretaceous Nysa graben (fig. 1). "Quader" sandstones of the Middle Turonian, surrounded by the overlying marly-clay complex (fig. 2) occur in the core of the brachyanticline. This brachyanticline is traversed by a NWW-SEE fault.
