Abstract

MACRO-FISSURING OF LIMY-MARLY ROCKS IN THE VICINITY OF BATH-BUSKOThe problems here discussed cancern the direction variability and the size of fissures in a carbonate series in the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Miocene rocks from the vicinity of Bath-Busko. An attempt is also made of evaluating the frequency of fissures in the above deposits by two calculation methods. Suggestions are, moreover, given regarding the adaptability of measuremems of the frequency of fissures taken in outcrops to the evaluation of the porosity of macro-fissures in gas-and-petroleum bearing horizons.
