Wstępne dane o dewonie w strefie strukturalnej Chojnic (północno-zachodnia Polska)

Abstract

PRELIMINARY NOTES ON THE DEVONIAN IN THE STRUCTURAL ZONE OF CHOJNICE (NW POLAND)Deep boreholes have been drilled during the last few years in north-western Poland by the Oil Industry in order to investigate the geology of the Paleozoic subsurface structures of the Polish Lowlands. Interesting Devonian deposits were reached or even pierced in the structural zone of Chojnice. On the brachiopod fauna a preliminary stratigraphy of the Devonian in boreholes Chojnice 3, Chojnice 4 and Miastko 1 is given and the relation of  these deposits to the older substratum folded during the Caledonian orogeny has been established.
