Abstract

STRATlGRAPHY OF THE CARBONIFEROUS FROM BOREHOLES MARSZOWICE 1 AND KONIUSZA 1 (MIECHÓW TROUGH, S POLAND)

The stratigraphy is here discussed of Carboniferous deposits from two new boreholes in the vicinity of Słomniki (south-western part of the Miechów trough). In borehole Marszowice 1, on faunal evidence, the presence has been observed of the Lower Namurian and Upper Visean (Go_γ and Go_β) in borehole Koniusza 1 of the Upper Visean (Go_β ? and Go_α) perhaps also that of the Middle Visean.
