Abstract

STRATlGRAPHY OF THE CARBONIFEROUS FROM BOREHOLES MARSZOWICE 1 AND KONIUSZA 1 (MIECHÓW TROUGH, S POLAND)The stratigraphy is here discussed of Carboniferous deposits from two new boreholes in the vicinity of Słomniki (south-western part of the Miechów trough). In borehole Marszowice 1, on faunal evidence, the presence has been observed of the Lower Namurian and Upper Visean (Goγ and Goβ) in borehole Koniusza 1 of the Upper Visean (Goβ ? and Goα) perhaps also that of the Middle Visean.
