Fauna tortońska z Górnik Nowych i Senderek koło Józefowa Lubelskiego

Abstract

THE TORTONlAN FAUNA FROM GÓRNIKI NOWE AND SENDERKI NEAR JÓZEFÓW, LUBLIN UPLANDFrom the neighbourhood of Józefów on the Lublin Upland the occurrence of sandy marls and their fauna are reported. The fauna points to the Lower Tortonian age of the deposits (supra-Lithothamnium horizon). The ecological conditions of the fauna are discussed. The systematical part contains descriptions of species and remarks on their stratigraphical range.
