Abstract

Cambrian deposits of the Podlasie depressionIn the area of the Podlasie depression (Eastern Poland) some of the boreholes for oil and gas have reached the Cambrian deposits. The most complete profiles were obtained in boreholes Polaki, Zembry, Biała Podlaska 2 and Terespol 1 (cf. Fig. 1); as the coring was here less than 2%, the recognition of the Cambrian stratigraphy bore some difficulties.
